A Message from Wes Chandler, Founder of WCTE
WCTE was born from something personal. I watched friends and colleagues, people I deeply care about, struggle without the resources or care they deserved. Many of them living with the effects of repetitive head trauma that can lead to CTE and TBI. These were challenges that could have been prevented, identified sooner, or treated more effectively. I could not stand by and do nothing.
Our mission is clear: To improve brain health and quality of life for people affected by repetitive head trauma and its long-term effects. That is why our mission is built on three clear pillars: Prevent. Identify. Treat. We work to prevent crises before they happen, identify the issues that are often overlooked, and deliver treatments that restore hope and quality of life. These are not just words on a wall. They are the foundation of every decision we make.
I also know this work is not about one person or one company. It is about collaboration. By working with healthcare providers, scientists, technology innovators, and community partners, WCTE brings together the best minds and tools to address the impact of head trauma and to drive real and measurable results.
